Stickied post

Members of /r/SpoiledSurvivor,

After discussion and feedback, we have decided to remove posts from accounts that are less than a week old going forward. Brand new accounts are still more than welcome to comment and discuss speculation in the subreddit, or to contact the mods directly with information, but must wait a week before creating any new posts.

As we still wish to invite speculation and discussion, we want to ask how you the community would feel about a weekly ‘leaks’ discussion post? The aim for this would be to provide a place for discussion and for newer accounts to post these boot-lists without making the main feed unreadable. In responding to previous feedback we’ll also be aiming to collate all spoilers for upcoming seasons into a single online document that can only be edited by the mods. This document would be linked to and discussed as part of this weekly thread and would be updated to reflect any new posts or comments claiming to be spoilers.

We are also working to revamp the tag system of the sub to indicate validity of posts. The idea that we are currently considering is that debunked posts would be marked as red, new and questionable posts as yellow, and posts from those known to have provided reliable info as green. We would also have speculation and discussion posts marked as blue. This would work alongside our current sticky comment system.

The reason we allowed these posts to happen was in response to feedback we already received. We want to provide the opportunity for an open forum in which anyone can provide spoilers, but we are also aware that this invites a large volume of attention-seeking and false information. Until the season airs or a more reliable source confirms their validity, it’s impossible for us to completely label anything as incorrect or correct, which is why we’ve been letting these posts happen.

How would you the community feel about these changes? Thank you all for your feedback so far and your continued engagement with the way this sub runs.

Has it been confirmed that Mike is blacklisted now? I heard that probst doesn’t like him anymore and that’s why he was passed on S34 and S340 by JT/Ben respectfully, but I don’t know if that’s concrete.

Any chance we could see Hatch, Tina JT, Earl Todd in the future or are they done?

Hey, I was looking at sportsbet for the Australian Survivor odds:

https://www.sportsbet.com.au/betting/entertainment/australian-survivor/australian-survivor-2019-4664843

And it had Pia and Daisy as the top two in the odds. Does this mean that they'll be the final two when it comes time for the jury to vote for the winner? Or are there other factors at play here?

Tbh, I'm not too fond of Daisy being in the final two as her gameplay has been far too emotional for my liking. But if she is there then she is there.

Is Daisy the Merge boot that doesn’t make jury? She was apart of the list that got everyone right so far.
